In 2017, HCFS is re-introducing bills that require that the State of HawaiÊ»i protect our keiki’s heath and environment from the unintended impacts of large-scale pesticide use by establishing buffer zones and requiring disclosure and notification of toxic restricted use pesticides around sensitive areas such as schools, childcare facilities and waterways.
