Tell USDA to Restore Funding for the Honey Bee Colony Survey!

USDA just cancelled critical honey bee research—even though honey bee populations declined by 40% in the last year!

Pollinator populations have been dropping steadily every year since 2006, with no signs of slowing down. We need to invest in research to protect honey bees, not cut it.

Tell EPA Not to Approve Glyphosate!

Glyphosate is bad news for people and nature. The World Health Organization's cancer authorities have found that glyphosate is a probable human carcinogen. Juries have already found that the use of Roundup contributed to the cancers of four plaintiffs who sued the company.

We must stop further suffering from this hazardous herbicide! Tell EPA not to re-approve it!

Tell Coca-Cola to Label GMOs on the Package!

The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) recently released the new rules for GMO labeling guidelines that companies have to comply with by 2020. The Coca-Cola Company is not likely going to use a clear text or a symbol label on its products' packaging to indicate that the product contains GMOs. Instead, you will likely see only a QR code (a square symbol that resembles a bar code) on the packaging that will require you to use your smartphone to interpret.

Tell Coca-Cola to label GMO products where everyone can easily find them: right on the package!

Thank the Food Companies that Pledged Never to Sell GMO Salmon

FDA just lifted the import ban on GMO salmon.

But because Center for Food Safety members wrote to grocery stores across the country, more than 80 food companies have made commitments never to sell this GMO salmon. Now that GMO salmon is available to be sold in the U.S., their commitments not to sell this dangerous product will be put to the test.

Tell the stores that pledged never to sell GMO salmon how important that commitment is to you.

Ban Bee-Killing Pesticides from Wildlife Refuges!

An overwhelming number of studies have linked neonicotinoid pesticides (or "neonics") to bee declines and illustrated the long-term detrimental impacts that these pesticides pose to bees and other wildlife.

Neonic pesticides have no place in wildlife refuges which are intended to provide refuge to wildlife, not the profits of pesticide companies.

Urge your rep to support HR 2854 to prohibit neonic pesticides on wildlife refuges to make wildlife refuges safe for wildlife again!

Tell Kellogg's to Label GMOs On the Package!

Before the end of the year, the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) is poised to require labeling of GMOs on food packaging for the first time ever. But Kellogg's is not going to use a clear text or a symbol label on its product packaging to indicate that the product contains GMOs.

Tell Your Senators to Label Frankenfish

Senator Lisa Murkowski (R-AK) recently introduced new legislation, the Genetically Engineered Salmon Labeling Act (S.1528), which would require genetically engineered salmon to be labeled as "genetically engineered" or "GE."

Tell Congress to Support the Saving America's Pollinators Act!

Representatives John Conyers (D, MI) and Earl Blumenauer (D, OR) have introduced the Saving America's Pollinators Act (H.R. 3040), which would require the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to take immediate action to protect bees and other pollinators by suspending the use of neonicotinoid insecticides. Tell your Representative to support the Saving America’s Pollinators Act!
