We will vigorously defend this legally sound and important law from GMA’s irresponsible attack,” said Andrew Kimbrell, executive director of Center for Food Safety. “These multinational food companies already label genetically engineered foods all over the world; yet, rather than comply with the will of the state of Vermont, they insist on filing anti-consumer lawsuits to keep people in the dark. As we have for two decades, Center for Food Safety will do all it can to protect the public’s right to know what is in their food.”
