Completed in conjunction with the International Forum on Globalization (IFG), the map outlines global initiatives involving the commercialization and labeling of GM crops and food. Different symbols on the map identify which countries:
- Signed the Biosafety Protocol;
- Ratified the Biosafety Protocol;
- Enforce required labeling laws;
- Enforce a moratorium or ban on commercialization;
- Have rejected GM food aid;
- Have regional regulations.
